Networking for the energy transition
Interest in news from Germany's greenest energy network is great at home and abroad - as usual, an exciting programme awaits visitors at HUSUM WIND. Two ENERGIEKÜSTE TALKS on 12 and 13 September invite visitors to the stand with the topics "Green - the new normal" and "Green, green, green is all I have?" Top-class talk guests from companies and economic development agencies will discuss, among other things, the "Settlement of Northvolt". Exchange and networking is offered by a get-together in cooperation with EE.HH, EE.SH and WAB as well as the reception of the State of Schleswig-Holstein with MEET THE NEED of the Energieküste on 13 September. Minister President Daniel Günther and state secretaries are also expected to attend.
Green energy a sought-after commodity
The region produces more sustainable energy than it consumes - with a strong upward trend. The umbrella brand Energieküste is at the forefront of the green industry of the future. To the delight of the West Coast Regional Cooperation, in which the initiators are united: the districts of Dithmarschen, North Friesland, Pinneberg and Steinburg. "We now bring together 36 innovative energy turnaround makers and their projects, including GP Joule, Fraunhofer IFAM, AquaVentus and Customcells," says Dr Matthias Hüppauff, Managing Director of the Nordfriesland Economic Development Corporation. "As a network, we bring needs together and promote synergies." Project manager Kisten Voss adds: "Everyone wants to use green energy. We are contributing to making it happen as quickly as possible."
About the Energieküste
The Schleswig-Holstein North Sea coast is Germany's future location for renewable energies. Experts, researchers, creative minds and energy enthusiasts are shaping a highly innovative energy system from existing resources here. To bundle their know-how, the districts of North Frisia, Dithmarschen, Steinburg and Pinneberg founded the umbrella brand and platform Energieküste. The aim of the districts, which have joined together to form the “Regionale Kooperation Westküste” and are regarded as incubators for innovations in the field of renewable energies, is to strengthen the existing economy, attract new companies and skilled workers and create a concise image for the business location. The Energieküste is financed with funds from the “Regionale Kooperation Westküste” budget, supported by the state programme Economy, and the four districts of the “Regionale Kooperation Westküste”.
