Fitness for the Energy Coast: With its project "Maritime Training Centre" (MTC), OffTEC Base GmbH & Co. KG is getting on board.
The training centre, which is unique in Europe, conducts safety training, first aid and technology courses for the wind energy sector and the maritime industry in Enge-Sande. The MTC uses sophisticated technology to create real sea scenarios with metre-high waves, fog and storms. This is also where the special forces of e.g. the police and the German Armed Forces train in survival and rescue.
On the 137-hectare OffTEC training site, you can go underwater, extinguish fires or rescue yourself and colleagues from confined spaces at dizzy heights - and then work safely and routinely on and offshore with a certificate. Welcome!
