'Energieküste' is a project of the 'Regionale Kooperation Westküste'. The Regionale Kooperation Westküste is supported by the districts of Dithmarschen, Nordfriesland, Pinneberg and Steinburg, the economic development agencies egw: Wirtschaftsförderung, WEP, WFG Nordfriesland as well as the IHK Flensburg and the IHK zu Kiel. The cooperation carries out joint projects, each on a fiduciary basis in the sponsorship of a single partner. WFG Nordfriesland has been responsible for the 'Energieküste' since 2021 and other partners support this project. The office of the 'Regionale Kooperation Westküste' is located at Projektgesellschaft Norderelbe mbH.
