Great interest in Ready!Charged!Career!

Ticket sales for WINDCareer exceeded expectations this year, HUSUM WIND is pleased to report. On 18th and 19th September, around 800 young professionals visited the exhibitors and events at the job fair. The Schleswig-Holstein stand also welcomed an increased number of young visitors who were interested in the drone technology on display, among other things.

Young talent for the west coast

The Energieküste presented its skilled worker campaign Ready.Charged.Career! to school classes and students, as well as to career changers and those looking to switch careers, as part of the session ‘Working in the energy sector: Will you join us?’ organised by its partner watt_2.0 e.V..

Team for careers on the Energieküste: Kirsten Voss presented the ‘skilled worker campaign on Instagram and a microsite’ together with Jördis Flatterich, the ‘face’ of Ready!Charged!Career! 

Finn-Ole Rühmann, Heide Employment Agency, spoke about the job market and career opportunities in renewable energies. Finn-Ole Rühmann: ‘The energy transition is creating jobs. Their proportion in relation to all jobs is steadily increasing. However, the shortage of skilled workers could slow down the energy transition.’

Get a taste and get started with an internship – Timo Goelling, Internship Coordinator for the West Coast, presented the advantages and prospects for interns.

Ready!Charged!Career! offers up-to-date, varied tips on careers in renewables on the Energieküste microsite, from internships, training and further education to study opportunities and potential employers. Motivational videos on Instagram showcase careers at Energieküste partners such as Holcim, Deutsche Windtechnik and Schramm group. Current dates and information round off the offering.
